Wood and woodlands are at the heart of Miscellaneous Adventures. From its early days as a woodworking side project inspired by a trip to the Swedish wilderness and moving to the woods, it slowly grew into a way of living, working and being.
For years we made wooden goods for outdoor adventures, taught woodcarving workshops, helped to restore ancient woodlands and create new ones.
Now, here in the Lake District our relationship with trees, wood and woodlands has grown further as we take inspiration from the wooded valleys and rugged landscapes of the north.
